Work gossip is funny. It can be used in a host of different ways from praising someone to defaming them. I think the funniest use of work gossip is when it’s used for something completely mindless.
Today, EVERYONE is walking around talking about an “amazing double rainbow” in the sky. Now…I’m not knocking rainbows. Rainbows are cool. Yeah, the rainbow image has been a bit tarnished by Leprachuans and same sex advocates…but the thought of light bouncing off of water molecules to create a stunning display of multicolored beams in the sky is neat.
It’s just hilarous to hear a whole office full of grown men and women fluttering about a rainbow in the sky. They all take turns going into the conference room so they can get a better look. I hear it from all angles, people down the hall, cubes next to me, near the front lobby. Rainbow rainbow rainbow rainbow rainbow rainbow rainbow rainbow….

I never saw the whole gay/rainbow connection. I mean I think it’s supposed to be “all different types” or something, but it’s still dumb. Whatever, anyone can claim a symbol. I make my own up.
